Delhi commuters now have a convenient tool at their disposal with the PoochhO mobile application for Android smartphones, developed by DIMTS.

Auto/Taxi

The PoochhO app enhances the transportation experience in Delhi by allowing users to easily locate nearby auto-rickshaws and taxis. Users can directly contact auto drivers through the app, eliminating the need to search for available autos on the streets. Along with this functionality, the application provides valuable details such as estimated fares, trip distances, travel times by the shortest route, and real-time traffic conditions.

The app offers the following key features:

• Location of the Auto: Users can view the nearest autos and their distance from their location.
• Call the Auto Driver: Directly contact auto drivers to check their availability for hire.
• Estimated Fare: Obtain estimated trip fares by specifying origin and destination points.
• Estimated Travel Distance: Find out the approximate travel distance between locations.
• Estimated Travel Time: Get an estimate of the travel duration based on input locations.
• Track the Auto: Monitor auto movement once a trip is accepted.
• Send User Location: Send precise location details to drivers when needed.
• Alternative Routes: Explore alternative routes using Google Maps.
• Feedback: Share feedback for app improvements through various platforms.

It is important to note that users do not need to make any payments to or through PoochhO for using the app to hail an auto or taxi. All transactions occur directly between users and the auto-rickshaw/taxi drivers. Additionally, fare estimates provided by PoochhO may differ from those of Google Maps or Electronic Fare Meters (EFMs) in autos, as they do not include night charges, waiting time, extra baggage fees, or other regulatory clauses.

NextBus

The NextBus feature is compatible with Orange-colored Delhi Transit buses and offers functionalities including tentative seat availability, route details with estimated time of arrival (ETA), real-time bus tracking, and trip planning assistance for Orange and DTC buses.

Metro

The Metro feature includes a trip planner for navigating within NCR, displaying fast and optimal routes from source to destination, along with first and last metro times and a comprehensive metro network connectivity map.

DTCBus

This section provides information on approximately 450 DTC bus routes.
